Toot-toot! Cars are everywhere. Some drive super-fast, others are very big, some transport things and others have a siren. Which cars do you recognize? A book filled with recognizable illustrations of the many vehicles around us. For toddlers ages 12 months and up, with a focus on the child’s world.

My Thoughts

I had a digital version of this sweet book, so I can’t testify as to the quality of print and paper, but I hope it is tough and shiny - this is not one you’d want torn and the first turn.

The illustrations are vibrant and clear with a rainbow of colours for youngsters to recognise. They may have trouble differentiating between the various vehicles; Daddy’s car, the bus, a jeep, a van, a limousine and many more, but they’ll have fun trying and that’s the main thing.

A colourful, entertaining pre-school page turner - I can imagine tinies turning these pages for hours.

Thank you Netgalley for an advance edition of Me and my Cars.

Teachers - have you discovered @BookPenPals? A new initiative pairing authors & illustrators with schools to make reading recommendations via postcards. They're pretty oversubscribed, but if you're interested it might be worth getting your name on the waiting list. They have some fabulous authors on board.
